Objective1. To expose students to a variety of Indian music and instruments such as veena, flute, violin and mridangam
2. To show how chinese or malay songs can be played using indian instruments
3. To encourage appreciation of indian music
 
SynopsisPerfomance will begin with a brief introduction
of about 3-4 different Indian musical instruments

Artists will play classical music, followed by indian semi-classical music.

Artists will end performance by playing local popular chinese and malay songs 
Highlights to watch out forQuestion and answer session will be conducted. Prizes will be given.

Selected students will have the opportunity to play the Indian instruments 
Learning Points for the audienceThe students will understand that music is universal and that ethnic indian musical instruments can be used to create any other type of ethnic music
