SYAMA presented BLISS - a classical dance recital at the Alliance Francaise Auditorium on the 27th June 2008. Performed by Sitaravamma Sandrasegaran and her students, the performance was well attended by over 200 people. Live orchestra was led by Sri Sitarama Sharma, Artistic Direction by Sitaravamma, and Project Direction by Ramkumar Vasudevan |

SYAMA will celebrate its annual event 'The Other Festival' at the Lee Foundation Theatre, NAFA on Sunday, the 7th September 2008. Dr Balaji Sadasivan, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has consented to be our Guest of Honor. Tickets for the show, at $10 will be available with the teachers from 15th August onwards. Members can collect their free ticket from SYAMA office or the teachers. |

SYAMA has expanded to a Music and Language centre, with the introduction of Tamil tuitions. We have started Intensive coaching for P4, P5 and P6 students, on wednesdays at 7 to 8:30PM. Class fees is at $100 per month. For more details and registrations, contact Mr. Packiaraj at 81553911 |
